What a month! Filled with releases, compilations, playlist inclusions, a tour announcement, a festival update, positive signs for venues in Melbourne and one, very eccentric, very powerful move by a world class rapper. FESTIVAL X will see you in 2021. 
After an incredible first year and with the safety of their patrons of the highest priority, the team at Festival X made the decision not to go ahead in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But fear not, the team will be back with some of the biggest names in the music game next year.

NEWS from around the world.
The Victorian Government announced that they would provide a $13 million dollar lifeline to Melbourne venues doing it tough in 2020. This was a huge message of hope and recovery, to assist a once vibrant music lifestyle thrive again. 

Over in the US - Kanye West called out his record label representatives on Twitter, sparking a conversation about royalties, artist rights and the processes of major labels that have dominated the industry. We’re keenly watching this space.
