Throwback: 2015 JDG & Samual James Release 'Mumbai'.

The year is 2015, and the infamous off beat bass lines of the “Melbourne Sound” craze were at the peak of their powers. Artists like Will Sparks, and Joel Fletcher were gallivanting across the globe spreading the sound to stages everywhere.

In February of that very same year, enter Melbourne based producers JDG & Samual James.
Already established bounce producers in their own right, the pair released a tune that took the world, charts, clubs, and festivals by storm.

To go along with the succsess of the original our mates over at DIM MAK releasing an edit that re-energised the single for the months that followed.

The record updates the original “Mumbai” by adding triumphant vocals from KARRA, while still maintaining the deadly effective female chant line. Add a weighty bass rhythm that’s as persistent as it is grooving and you’ve got a collaborative release that cuts to the essence of both Melbourne superstars’ big room styles.
