Picture this, its 2012 / 2013 at around about 11:30pm on a Saturday. You and your mates just finished pre drinks and potentially have had a little too much alcohol . The cramped cab your in is seemingly driving the slowest of any car on the road. There is an energy in the air though, everyone in the ride knowing where the journey ends.. Or just begins.

You step out of the taxi, hoping for the line into your favourite nightclub to be small, or for it to be huge and have the promoter you barely know standing out the front that you can hassle for quick entry. You can already hear it standing in line, the thumping 128bpm low-end of a club exclusive your dying to down shots to.

Now your here, you’ve paid your entry, you’ve cloaked your jacket and you begin the coveted stumble into the venue. Every thing goes silent and everyone seemingly stops. Then out of the sound system you hear it, like a pure bolt of lightning that hits every body in the club at the exact same moment, the lyrics “GET UP”.

What happened after that was seemingly a haze of confetti cannons, Co2, blinding lights and alcohol. What ever happened it was a good night.
