Flex Cop - Placebo EP

Placebo-Insta1.jpg

"Brisbane based producer Flex Cop mixes elements of French-influenced “nu-disco” and splashes of jackin’ soul to create a truly unique electronic dance sound: One part Gui Boratto, one part Jamiroquai, with production “just so damn crisp” (Dave Ruby Howe, TripleJ Unearthed Music Director), and basslines that flex hard!

Following on from his “I Been Looking” release on Lucid Dreaming, featured on Beatport’s “Must Hear Nu Disco” Chart, that found solid club support streaming in from Maya Jane Coles, Hot Since 82, MK, Pleasurekraft, Amine Edge, Audiojack, Danny Daze, Adana Twins, Carl Cox and more, Flex Cop returns with a showing of his most confident production yet – the irresistible “Placebo’. At once both euphoric and familiar with swirls of trumpets & signature driving bass. Also featuring a stunning deep throwback remix from Beatport Top 10 Overall act Teenage Mutants, while on the flip Flex Cop gives the original the strong dub treatment with “Nocebo”. Rounding out the package Murat Kilic’s techy DC10 vibes take on the original is already gaining supported by Adana Twinsand Vanilla Ace.

'Australian producer Flex Cop is another honourable mention on the list of dance-worthy music this week, with a stunning deep-house original” - The Music Ninja

Early support from Moon Boots, Dubfire, Drumcode, Mike Mago, Henry Saiz, Roy Davis Jr, Tom Novy & more."
