An established solo artist, ACID JACK has been known to create music that sounds like computers making heavy digital love while driving Ferraris into volcanos at night. Now he’s back with the cheeky titled YOKO MONO - the huge single from his new house orientated dance project DISCOVISION.
Signed after one listen by house music aficionado Riva Starr, and debuted exclusively on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show. Soon after featuring on radio mixes from Axwell, Benny Benassi, Moguai, Laidback Luke, and fast became a big room and festival favourite including being played by Fat Boy Slim at David Guetta’s opening night of "Fuck Me I’m Famous 2011" in Pacha, Ibiza!
Already doing the damage across the globe, from sun-struck festivals to sweaty pulsing clubs, ACID JACK presents DISCOVISION “Yoko Mono”, is a genre bending, grade A, peak time party weapon that now gets jacked to the next level with remixes coming stateside from super producer DJ DLG and Brooklyn, NY based beat maker CODES, who reaches into his colourful background as a turntablist, producer and party starter to give a little production wizardy also. Other International hitters are Italian LAZY ANTS (fresh off recent work with Crookers & His Majesty Andre) as well as LA’s future forward club hipsters LOL BOYS (Sound Pelligrino, Discobelle).
Australian production wizards making sonic waves on the remixes are TOM PIPER (NSW #1 DJ), BLAZE TRIPP and BOBBY VENA all delivering world class mixes that keep the monster growing.
In the words of the deep space techno explorer himself:
‘Yoko Mono is a disco banging, house rolling, groove, techno, sort of thing. It’s literally my vision of disco in 2011: ‘no rules’ music for pointing fingers at the speakers while the CO2 cannons spew excitement all over people. On a beach. In miami. Its not what people expect from me’
Yeah but so what?….people are liking it.
