Sophiegrophy has an attitude and swag as fierce as anyone, as well as a unique, charming aura that makes for a distinct yet diverse sound you can’t quite put your finger on. Whether she’s delivering cut-throat 16’s or catchy, pop-inspired hooks, the one thing you can expect from Sophie is that she will deliver nothing but quality.
Just before her Australian tour we thought that we would sit down with Sophie and talk life.

1. Congratulations on all of your recent success, in particular with your latest record American Honey which is slaying everywhere! It must be a great feeling to get your face on the cover of a Spotify playlist. Do you do anything in particular to celebrate any of your big releases?
I actually don’t, my mood is usually how I celebrate, I am very jubilant during my releases & I also blast the song at home a lot.

2. You seem to have a pretty packed schedule this summer we saw you performed at the official Spotify A1 live Showcase a few weeks back, and your about to hit the road with us for Festival X. Do you prefer the big festival stages or the small intimate shows?
I love both big festival stages & the small Intimate shows because the experience are completely different. Both stages requires a lot of effort because the intimate shows are smaller so people are focused on every single detail of your performance. However the big festivals people are there to have fun so you have to keep them entertained the music has to be right with the vibes.

3. OK SO WE LOVE YOUR STYLE, and we saw you just made the most boss move ever collaborating with Nike Women. How much effort / time goes into an everyday outfit for you?
I love looking good I mean who doesn’t, since I was a kid I’ve always been the person that dresses different even if it means wearing things that others won’t wear because they’re afraid of being judged. A lot of my outfit choices are usually last minute which is in fact good for me because it saves me a lot of time!

4. What are your 3 go to tracks to get you in the mood to go out?

5. Now fior the hardest question, if you could drink one alcoholic beverage for the rest of your life, American Honey or otherwise, what would it be?
Of course American Honey & also Innocent Bystander Moscato.
